Producer and selector Gripper, also known as Tambores En Benirrás, just released his latest album entitled ‘Ondas Horizontales’ (horizontal waves), through Phil Cooper’s NuNorthern Soul label.

‘Ondas Horizontales’ takes listeners on a unique sonic journey, capturing his artistic vision. It invites you to unwind and immerse yourself in his world of sounds and inspiration drawn from Ibizan masters and the Balearic Islands.

Reflecting on his creative process, Tambores En Benirrás explained: “Instead of developing ideas through jamming and finding sounds, I spent more time soul searching and becoming familiar with a slightly different way of looking at my surroundings. I believe that places and situations have a vibe about them, and without visual stimuli, this becomes heightened, more prominent, and more important. This is what makes ‘Ondas Horizontales’ a unique album.”
