Tributes are pouring in for Angelo Bruschini, the guitarist of Massive Attack, who has sadly passed away after battling lung cancer. The band confirmed the news and expressed their devastation in a statement.

In the heartfelt statement, Massive Attack shared an image of Angelo Bruschini and expressed their gratitude for having the privilege to share such a remarkable life with him. They described him as a brilliant and eccentric talent whose contribution to the band is immeasurable.

Earlier this year, the artist courageously shared updates about his battle with lung cancer, disclosing discouraging news from specialists. Sadly, Bruschini’s wife announced his passing from a rare and aggressive cancer known as pleomorphic carcinoma.

Born in Bristol, Angelo Bruschini was not only a member of Massive Attack but also lent his musical talents to bands like The Numbers, Rimshots, and The Blue Aeroplanes. He made notable contributions to the music industry, including producing Strangelove’s self-titled album in 1997 and playing guitar on Jane Taylor’s track ‘Blowing This Candle Out’ in 2005.
