Tresor launches mentorship scheme to cultivate future club managers

The 12-week program empowers talented individuals with knowledge, experience, and paid opportunities.

Berlin’s famous nightclub, Tresor, is launching an initiative to find the next generation of nightclub managers. The Academy of Subcultural Understanding, created by the venue’s owner Dimitri Hegemann, former booker Diana Alagić, and sociologist Martin Fuller, will provide a 12-week mentorship program for six young individuals.

The Academy aims to support and enhance club and subculture scenes, empowering talented individuals to manage their own venues. Their vision is to see the growth of clubs in both major cultural hubs and smaller cities.

Participants will gain theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and paid opportunities. Fluency in German and English is required, and applications are due by November 20th, 2023.
