Berlin-based DJ and producer Yulia Niko has announced her debut studio album, ‘Twinsoul’, which is scheduled for release on March 8th, 2024.

In addition to the announcement, the DJ & producer has also released the album’s sixth single, ‘Exito’, featuring vocals from her longtime friend Sil Romero. This single showcases Yulia’s percussion-forward style and builds excitement for the upcoming album.

Going beyond the confines of her sound, Yulia ventures into experimentation and creative freedom, using ‘Twinsoul’ as a blank canvas to offer a sincere and heartfelt tribute to her late father’s memory. Each track represents a piece of her soul coming together in the aftermath of his passing.

The album’s title was inspired by the artist’s discovery of old photos of her father as a young person, recognizing the striking similarities between them. The album artwork captures this concept, portraying two souls inherently connected.

“My father had reservations about my choice to pursue a career in music and wanted me to follow a more conventional path,” explains Yulia Niko. “Just as I began to achieve success, he passed away. This album is dedicated to my father as a testament to my unwavering dedication as an artist.”
